THE APPROACH

I’m Jay James, a Ghanaian-American artist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist. Rooted in soul and shaped by live instrumentation, my work connects the intimacy of a sound with the scale of a story. I create across records, film, and television, bringing a musician’s touch and a producer’s curiosity to every collaboration. And as founder of Glory Recordings, I’m also building a home for my own musical world.
